The Department of Engineering and System Science at National Tsing Hua University is seeking a distinguished candidate for filling a faculty position in the field of Low-Carbon Green Energy. The ideal candidate should possess a robust technical background for Green Energy research in H₂ production / storage, CO₂ reduction, dynamics of charge transport / management, or related technologies of sustainable energy (such as fuel cells and electrolyzers) as well as molecular nanotechnologies. This appointment provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research aimed at advancing technologies for H₂ production / storage / utilization, carbon utilization or nanomaterials for related fields mentioned above.

    Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Chemical / Physical Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science / Engineering, or a closely related field, with postdoctoral experience or an established independent research record in areas such as nanomaterials, charge transport phenomena and renewable energy technologies. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a highly innovative and collaborative research program that addresses global challenges in energy and environmental sustainability.

    The candidate will also be expected to teach undergraduate / graduate core courses, as well as elective courses related to physical chemistry, chemical engineering and system science of energy engineering, mentor students, and participate in departmental and university service. A commitment to excellence in teaching and research, as well as the ability to engage with interdisciplinary teams, will be essential. The Department offers state-of-the-art research facilities, opportunities for collaboration across disciplines, and access to funding sources supporting sustainability and energy transition efforts.
