First of a two-semester sequence treating metallurgical phenomena and their utilization in engineering materials and processes;crystal structure, defects, diffusion, phase diagrams, plastic deformation.

晶體結構，差排理論與滑移現象，差排與晶界，空位，退火、回復、再結晶，晶粒粗化，固溶現象，固溶原子與差排作用，擴散，二元相圖，塑性變形。
