ESS2501 Introduction to Materials Science II, 材料科學導論二

Course Description:

To introduce the students to the materials science and engineering of
metals, ceramics, and electronic materials. Topics include:  properties and
processing of metal alloys,structures and properties of ceramics,application
and processing of ceramics,composites,corrosion and degradation of
materials,electric,thermal,magnetic,and optical properties. Case studies are
used when appropriate to exemplify the lecture topics. Related courses are
mostly focussed on processing -> structure -> properties -> performance.

 

課程說明：

材料科學導論是材料學的入門課，分為上下學期。本課程介紹材料科學的概要與基
礎，內容 涵蓋金屬熱處理與成形，陶瓷材料，及複合材料，材料之劣化與腐蝕材料，
電性，熱性質，材料磁性，介電及光學材料等。
