Scholarship: Fully funded for three years
Introduction: Multiscale material research group working on molecular dynamics, ab-initio and atom probe tomography. We currently having strong collaboration with other research groups in US, Taiwan (NTHU) and Hong Kong. By joining our group, you will participate in some very innovative and fundamental material modeling work. We work as a team and discuss to each other frequently. A self-motivated student who is easy to communicate with is expected, and more than HKD 15000/month is supported. Research Interests:
- Radiation and Particle Transport in Materials, Potential Function Development, Nanocrystal Engineering, Mesoscale Thin Film Modeling, Multi-heterojunction nanoparticles modeling and electrochemical properties
Collaboration teams:

Requirements including but not limited:
1. Familiar with Lammps or Vasp, or experience in coding (any language); or interested in atom probe tomography (APT)
2. Master degree preferred, while exceptional Bachelor degree holders are also welcomed
3. electrochemical analysis
4. synchrotron X-ray analysis
3. English skills: IELTS>6.5, or TOEFL>79, or CET-6>490. CET-6 is acceptable. However, certain conditions may apply to different schemes. So, CET-6 is not recommended if you have IELTS or TOEFL scores.
